Terms of service

1. Who we are

CoverLab (the "Service") is a website and set of tools for making YouTube thumbnails, movie posters, Instagram and TikTok posts, album art, and for compressing images and videos. It is owned and run by TANTHA, Manipur, India ("we", "us"). "You" means the person or business using the Service.

These terms, together with our Privacy policy, Refund and cancellation policy, Content and copyright policy, Cookie notice and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us.

2. Who can use CoverLab

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms for you. If you use the Service for a company, label or studio, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

• Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• Tell us straight away at admin@tanthaentertainment.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• One person per account. Do not sell, share or transfer accounts.

4. Plans, prices and payment

• Some tools are free. Others need a paid plan. Each plan's price and what it includes are shown on the plans page before you pay.
• Premium is paid in advance for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. It does not renew automatically: when the time ends, your account returns to the free plan unless you buy more time. Buying again before it ends adds the new time on top.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST unless the plans page says otherwise.
• Launch and other discounts apply only for the period and to the people stated with the offer.
• Payments are handled by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Time you have already paid for is never affected.

5. Stopping and refunds

Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel: simply don't buy more time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded, including for unused time or unused generations. The few exceptions, such as a double charge, are listed in the Refund and cancellation policy.

6. What you upload

"Your content" means the videos, pictures, logos, links, text and music you give the Service.

• You keep all the rights you have in your content.
• You give us permission to store, copy, process and change your content only to run the Service for you: finding frames, cutting out people, making artwork, compressing and saving files. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
• We do not use your content to advertise the Service, or to train AI models, without asking you first.
• You promise that you own your content or have permission from everyone who does, including the people who appear in it, and that our use of it as described here will not break anyone's rights or any law.

7. The artwork you make

• As between you and us, the thumbnails, posters, posts and other files you make with the Service are yours to use, including for commercial work.
• Your artwork is built from your own content. Its rights can be no greater than the rights you hold in that content. For example, if a film still belongs to a studio, the studio's rights still apply.
• Our layouts, styles, fonts, effects and software stay ours, or our licensors'. The fonts offered in the editor are licensed for commercial use.
• Some features use artificial intelligence. AI results can be imperfect or similar to other people's results. Check every result before you publish it.

8. What you must not do

• Upload, download or make anything that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or that is illegal, obscene, hateful, harassing or defamatory.
• Use someone's face, name or likeness without their permission, make a person appear to say or do something they did not, or pass artwork off as an official release when it is not.
• Use the YouTube Downloader for videos you do not own or have permission to save. See the Content and copyright policy.
• Make sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form.
• Break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around its limits, or resell it without our written permission.

If you break these rules we may remove the content, limit your account or close it, without a refund, and report illegal content to the authorities.

9. Changes and availability

We are a young service and will keep improving it. We may add, change or remove features. We try to keep the Service running, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of anything important; files you download are yours to store.

10. Responsibility

• The Service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be free of errors, or that any thumbnail or poster will bring views, streams or sales.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost data or lost opportunity.
• To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
• You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is made against us because of your content or because you broke these terms.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

11. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by writing to admin@tanthaentertainment.com. We may close an account that breaks these terms or has been unused for more than 24 months, after warning you by email where we can. When an account is closed, its files are deleted as described in the Privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first; most problems can be settled quickly. If a dispute cannot be settled, the courts in Manipur, India, will have jurisdiction.

14. Complaints

Our Grievance Officer can be reached at admin@tanthaentertainment.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
