What is CoverLab?
CoverLab makes YouTube thumbnails, movie posters, album artwork, Instagram posts and stories, and TikTok covers from your own footage and photos, in a few simple steps. It also has free tools to compress images and videos.
Will it change my artists' faces?
No. CoverLab uses real frames from your video and your own photos. Faces are never redrawn, reshaped or beautified, so your artists look exactly like themselves.
What do I need to start?
Thumbnails: a YouTube link, the video file, or photos.
Movie posters: images of your characters and scenes, your title logo if you have one, the genre, and the design you like. Sharp, high-resolution stills give the best poster.
Album art and social posts: a video or photos, and the title.
Do I need to install anything or know design?
No. CoverLab runs in your web browser on a computer or phone. It picks the shots and lays out the design; you choose and adjust.
Is CoverLab free?
Every account gets 3 free creations, and the image compressor, video compressor and YouTube downloader are free. Premium unlocks everything with no limits. See prices.
How can I pay?
Payments go through Cashfree Payments: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. We never see your card or bank details.
Does Premium renew by itself? Do you give refunds?
No. You pay once for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, and it never renews or charges you again by itself. Payments are not refunded, except for mistakes such as a double charge. See the Refund and cancellation policy.
Are my videos and photos private?
Yes. They are used only to make your artwork. They are not shown to other users, sold, or used to train AI. You can delete them any time. See the Privacy policy.
Can I use the artwork commercially?
Yes, as long as you have the rights to the footage, photos, logo and music it is made from. The fonts in the editor are free for commercial use.
Which YouTube videos can I download?
Only videos you uploaded, hold the rights to, or have the owner's permission to save. Files are kept for 6 hours, then deleted. See the Content and copyright policy.
Why does my result look soft?
Artwork can only be as sharp as what it is made from. A 1080p video gives a good thumbnail, but posters and album art are much bigger. Upload the original video file or high-resolution photos for the sharpest result.
