In short

  • We collect only what we need to run your account, make your artwork and take payment.
  • Your videos and photos are used to make your artwork. They are not sold, shown to other users, or used to train AI.
  • We look for faces only inside your own project, to find good shots. We never alter faces and never build a face database.
  • You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time.

1. Who looks after your data

CoverLab is run by TANTHA, Manipur, India. We decide how your personal data is used, and we follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Contact us at admin@tanthaentertainment.com.

2. What we collect and why

We do not collect your card, UPI or bank details. Cashfree Payments collects those directly on its own secure page.

3. Your consent

We use your data because you agree to it when you sign up and when you upload files, and because we need it to provide what you asked for. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your files or closing your account. Withdrawing does not affect what was done before, and some features will stop working without the data they need.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run CoverLab, and only what each one needs:

  • Cashfree Payments, to take payments.
  • OpenAI, only when you choose an AI feature: the shots you picked are sent to make the new picture. OpenAI's terms say it does not use this data to train its models.
  • Our hosting, storage and email providers, to store files and send emails.
  • Government or law enforcement bodies, when Indian law requires it.

Some providers may store data outside India. When they do, we use providers that protect it to a standard at least as high as this policy, and we follow any limits the Government of India sets on transfers.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your uploads and artwork: until you delete them or close your account. After you close your account, we delete them within 30 days.
  • YouTube Downloader files: deleted automatically 6 hours after they are made.
  • The image compressor: your images never leave your browser, so we never receive them.
  • Payment records and invoices: kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires.
  • Technical logs: up to 90 days, unless we need them to look into abuse.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act;
  • deal with a complaint about how we used your data.

Write to admin@tanthaentertainment.com from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Keeping it safe

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), scrambled passwords and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

8. Children

CoverLab is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian, and we do not track children or show them targeted ads. If you think a child has given us data without that consent, write to us and we will delete it.

9. People in your videos and photos

When you upload a video or photo, you confirm that the people in it have agreed to its use. If you appear in something uploaded by someone else and want it removed, write to us and we will look into it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell you by email before it applies.

11. Grievance Officer
